In the context of certifying business actors, BSPJI Pekanbaru facilitates the MUI Fatwa Commission to conduct a halal fatwa hearing after the completion of the BSPJI Pekanbaru Halal Inspection Institute conducting halal testing audits for several SMEs that have chosen LPH BSPJI Pekanbaru as the institution that assists with halal certification. Located in the BSPJI Pekanbaru Meeting Room, the Fatwa Commission tried 17 IKMs where the MUI Fatwa Commission reviewed the audit results and decided whether the products that had been audited met the halal criteria set by the MUI. In the presence of Mr. Dr. H. Kasmidin.Lc.MA as secretary of the Fatwa Commission together with Mr. Abdi Almakstur, M. Ag. as a member of the Fatwa Commission, the Fatwa Commission session went smoothly.
